Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my PDF get?

It depends on what is inside. Scanned or photo-heavy PDFs usually shrink 60–90% at the Balanced level. Text-only PDFs are already small and may only lose a few percent even with lossless optimisation.

Is lossless compression really lossless?

Yes. The Lossless level only rewrites the file structure and re-packs streams. Every page renders identically to the original.

Are my files uploaded or stored?

Your file is sent to the server, compressed in a temporary folder, streamed back, and deleted immediately. Nothing is kept or logged.

What is the maximum file size?

PDFs up to 200 MB and images up to 60 MB.
